BITS Pilani - BITSAT 2017 Application Forms



Birla Institute of Technology and Sciences, Pilani commonly known as BITS Pilani is conducting BITSAT 2017 examination for various programmes.

BITSAT 2017 is computer based online test for admissions for programmes like B.E, B.Pharm, M.Sc, etc. The eligibility criteria for a candidate is have passed 12th class examination or 10+2 system recognized by central or state board or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics.

The deadline to register for BITSAT 2017 by filling the online form along with prescribed fees is 5.00 P.M. on 6th March 2017.

M.S. Ramaiah Medical College – PG Admission Forms for 2017-2018



M.S.Ramaiah Medical college has started issuing Admission Forms for Post Graduate Courses for 2017-18. The admission form is only for Management quota seats and NRI quota Seats.

VITEEE 2017 Applications for B.Tech Programmes


VIT has announced the applications for B.Tech programmes for the year 2017. The exam is going to be a computer based test which is going to be held from 5th April to 16th April 2017.

Applicants can apply for various B.Tech programmes which includes BioTech, Bio-Med, Civil, Chemical, CSE, CSE (Bio Info), CSE (IS), ECE, EEE, EIE, IT, Mech, Mech(Energy), Mech(Auto), Production & IE, etc.

NEET 2017 to be Counted as First Attempt



Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has clarified the NEET 2017 will be counted as first attempt for all the candidates, irrespective of their previous attempts in AIPMT/NEET. Earlier, the CBSE has announced that aspirants who have already given AIPMT and NEET 2016 over three times are ineligible to appear for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test.


From 2017 onward, the candidates who are appearing in single medical entrance examination i.e. National Eligibility-Cum-Entrance Test (NEET) will be counted as their first attempt. All candidates who could not fill up the application form due to the condition of three attempts at AIPMT/NEET will now be able to fill up their application form.

As per the reports, over 10 lakh students are likely to appear for NEET on May 7. The registration procedure has already begun and will conclude on March 1, 2017.

NEET Exam 2017


The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will hold the National Eligibility –cum-Entrance Test (NEET) on May 07 2017 for admissions to all medical and dental colleges except for those established by an act of Parliament like All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS).
The NEET exam will be conducted in10 languages i.e. Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Odia, Gujarati, Bengali, Assamese, Hindi and English. The results of the exam will be announced on June 08 2017.

Karnataka CET 2017 Exam Dates Announced



The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) will conduct the common entrance examination (CET) 2017 on may 2 and 3,2017 for taking admissions to Farm Science, Engineering, Naturopathy, Unani, Homeopathy and Ayurveda courses. According to recent notice issued on Dec 12, 2016 authority having a point on admissions to Medical and Dental courses though a National eligibility cum entrance test 2017 not by CET.
However KEA will conduct counselling sessions for Govt. and Govt. quota students. Merit will be decided on rank basis, however students has to score marks in NEET instead of CET.
There will be four papers of 60 marks each — Biology, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. 
Time Table:

May 2, 2017: Biology — 10.30 am – 11.50 am
May 2, 2017: Mathematics — 2.30 pm – 3.50 pm
May 3, 2017: Physics — 10.30 am – 11.50 am
May 3, 2017: Chemistry — 2.30 pm – 3.50 pm

Karnataka COMEDK UGET-2017 Exam to be held on May 7 2017



Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) is conducting UGET 2017 which is going to be held on May 7, 2017. Every year for admission to Medical, Engineering & Dental colleges of Karnataka COMEDK conducts UGET exam. After class 12 Under Graduate Entrance Test (UGET) is most popular exam.
Currently there are 150 colleges with 20,000 seats available for offering admission on basis of UGET exam 2017 result. Till last year, COMEDK used to conduct UGET exam for dental and medical colleges in state. With introduction of National eligibility- cum entrance Test (NEET) 2016, now COMEDK 2017 involves engineering entrance exam is isolation.
